There’s something magical about a summer mountain wedding, and Sarah and Kyler’s big day at Cooper Mountain on July 6th was just that—magical! With 100 guests, vibrant florals, and jaw-dropping views, their celebration was the perfect mix of adventure and elegance. The best part? Guests were treated to a truly unique experience, traveling to both the ceremony and reception via gondolas! From the moment they arrived at the mountaintop, it was clear this Cooper Mountain summer wedding would be one for the books.
Sarah and Kyler, a Texas-based couple, envisioned a summer wedding that brought their family and friends together in the beauty of Colorado’s mountains. The weather couldn’t have been better, with clear skies and warm temperatures creating a beautiful Colorado setting for their day. Their guests were treated to a true mountain experience, taking gondolas up to the ceremony site, where they were greeted by panoramic mountain views.
Now, let’s talk logistics because a gondola-access wedding comes with its own set of challenges. Every single piece of décor—including their gorgeous floral arch—had to be transported up the mountain in the gondolas. This meant we had to carefully plan every detail, making sure that everything, down to the floral installations, fit into the gondola cars. It was a challenge we were more than ready to tackle! We also allowed extra time for setup to make sure the timeline ran smoothly. From florals to décor, every piece made it up the mountain without a hitch. It was absolutely worth the extra effort to create that magical mountaintop setting.
One of my favorite things about working with Sarah was her fearless approach to design. She wasn’t afraid to use bold colors and patterns to create a fun atmosphere that perfectly matched their personalities. We incorporated these elements through the florals and the prettiest patterned napkins to the reception tables. The entire space felt playful, colorful, and full of life.
I can’t finish this without talking about Sarah’s dress—it was hands down one of my favorites of the season! It looked absolutely stunning against the backdrop of the Colorado mountains. There’s something special about seeing a bride truly shine in her dress, and Sarah did just that.
Sarah and Kyler’s Cooper Mountain summer wedding was truly a reflection of who they are as a couple—fun, adventurous, and not afraid to do things a little differently. It was an honor to be a part of their journey and help bring their vision to life in such a breathtaking location.
